Product Manager
Overview:
EngageRocket is Asia's first VC-backed employee feedback and analytics software company, providing HR tech solutions to help organizations create great workplaces through ‘people analytics’. Our platform gathers and processes critical workplace feedback throughout an employee's lifecycle to inform better management decisions.
As part of the Product and People Science team, we are seeking a driven and dynamic individual to join our team as a Product Manager with a passion for solving problems through data. This role is pivotal in shaping how customers interact with insights across our platform, with a focus on developing intuitive and powerful dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of data proficiency, logical thinking, initiative, adaptability, independence, and strong communication ability to thrive in our fast-paced startup environment.
The Product Manager will be able to work with many different types of stakeholders and hence growth opportunities are immense if embraced. The employee will get exposure to:
1. Work closely with the commercial teams (Sales and Customer Success) to understand the use cases for the dashboards and which products/features provide the most value
2. Join hands with the Product, People Science and Engineering team to craft solutions for the users’ pain points
What We Are Looking For in You:
Drive and initiative:
- Take full ownership of roadmap items, especially dashboard features, from discovery to release
- Be proactive in identifying product gaps and initiating solutions using data
Logical thinking and data proficiency:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of data structures and visualization principles
- Work closely with people scientists and developers to validate data logic and ensure data accuracy in dashboards
- Bonus: Familiarity with Python
Independent contributor with leadership qualities:
- Lead discovery, documentation, and alignment of stakeholders for dashboard feature delivery
- Confidently manage timelines and priorities, balancing short-term improvements with long-term vision
- Seek feedback when necessary and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
Detail-oriented:
- Ensure high product quality through meticulous attention to detail in requirements, edge cases, and test planning
Adaptability:
- Be flexible and quick to respond to shifting priorities and feedback in a dynamic environment
- Embrace continuous learning and iteration, especially as customer needs evolve
Stakeholder management and Collaboration:
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams including data, engineering, design, and CS
- Drive alignment on outcomes and success metrics for each dashboard or insight feature
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management (and/or project management) preferably in a B2B SaaS company
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Prior experience working on dashboards or reporting features is a strong plus
